  • Efficiently manage their time

  • Have basic computer skills

  • Communicate regularly via email with teacher and classmates

  • Have a personal commitment to academic success
If you wish to join the growing community of online learners, here’s how to register:

  1. Talk with your guidance counselor about your educational needs and goals.
  2. Complete a Virtual School registration form. (This form should also be available in your school’s guidance office.)
  3. Return the completed application to your guidance counselor or other Virtual School onsite facilitator along with payment for the course(s). (Click here for tuition information.)
  4. Students residing outside of Hamilton County or anyone needing registration assistance may call the Virtual School office directly at 423-209-8800 between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm (EST), Monday through Friday.
  5. Completed registration form and tuition payment may be mailed directly to the Virtual School office at the following address:
