Students Taking A Right Stand (STARS) - Chattanooga is  the designated Safe Schools program of the Hamilton County Schools.  Though the level of services and name have changed since its beginning in 1981, STARS has been consistent in adapting to the needs of the community and supporting the process of aiding students in the decision-making process.  Read more about the history of STARS.

STARS has partnered with the HCDE Coordinated School Health program to provide an updated DVD library.  Topics include:  Alcohol, Tobacco, Healthy Eating, Anti-Bullying, Dating Violence, etc.  Please check out the complete catalog to see what’s available.
