SPEAK OUT

The Student SPEAK OUT is an annual conference of students to participate in seminar-like workshops to list their opinions on different topics. The SSAC is in charge of deciding the topics, providing facilitators for the workshops and deciding upon the design of the shirt for the year's conference.

Here are the options we have decided on as of now (still tentative):

§     How can we racially integrate public schools?

§     What rights do students have when it comes to religious expression in the schools?

§     What criteria should be used to select the Valedictorian and the Salutatorian?

§     Rising prices of gas and school buses

§     The economy

§     Does my teacher make the grade?

§     Is abstinence only and drug awareness education effective?

§     What will I wear to school today? (dress code)

§     Are schools safe?

      Color choices:

§     Yellow with blue writing

§     Blue with yellow writing

§     Lime green with blue writing

§     Lime green with yellow writing

§     Lime green with purple writing

§     Black with neon yellow writing

§     Forest green with black writing

Logo choices:

§     “Works Cited”, MLA format of the event

Be thinking of more Logo choices for the shirts people! An inspiring quote, a witty saying, anything will do. Please come to the meeting with at least one idea in mind per school so that we have some choices.
