Before & After School Programs

The Hamilton County School Age Program is now in operation at thirty two (32) elementary schools including Snow Hill Elementary.  All children enrolled in the program must attend Hamilton County Schools.  Children must have completed Kindergarten prior to enrollment in the Summer Program. 

The purpose of the SACC Program is to provide adult supervision for students during before and after school hours and on some full days when school is not in session. 

Operating Schedule
The SACC Program operates daily on regular school days.  It is also open at some sites for inclement days (if possible), teacher in-service days, and during summer break.  All centers are closed for the following holidays:
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Day After, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day.

Parents must come in with their child to sign in each morning.  Parents are also required to sign out their child when picking them up in the afternoon.

If a student is a car rider and is signed up for after care, the student may be checked into after care of they are not picked up by 3:55 pm.  Aftercare charges will be in effect.

Cost Information

Registration Fee - $10.00 per child
AM Session - $3.00 per day
PM Session - $6.00 per day
Both AM and PM Sessions - $9.00 per day
Full Day Session - $12.00 per day
