Welcome to Red Bank High School

The Mission of Red Bank High School is to create an environment in which the uniqueness of each individual student is valued and in which each student's educational opportunity is maximized in order to prepare each student to become effective and productive citizens of the community and world.


Announcements

Students are reminded that to drive on the Red Bank High School property is a privilege not a right.  If any reports are received for reckless driving on campus, driving and parking privileges of that student will be revoked.

Anyone interested in being a Beta Club officer, including last year’s officers, please seeMs. Keith-Houle in room 1290 to sign up.

JROTC command and staff will meet today during advisory in the rifle range.

Applications for Youth Volunteering at the Tennessee Aquarium are now available in the Counseling Office.  Training includes 4 different evening sessions.  Students must have completed biology to be eligible.  This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours, develop interpersonal skills, learn more about our environment and have fun.  Deadline is October 1.

Registration is now available for online classes through Hamilton County Virtual School .  The fee is $225 for a half credit.  Check out their web site to download some of the forms and see the courses offered:  www.hcvs.us.  See Mr. Kindiger for more information or to register.

The CDC Class has started their cookie sales.  Like last year, they will come around to advisories.  You and the students can buy 2 warm, fresh cookies for $1.00!!  We will try to hit every advisory, but there are times we can’t so please be patient with us.

Lion Cub day has been postponed until September 6th due to the extreme heat.

Flash drives will be sold by technology for $15 during lunch outside the cafeteria.

Blue Nation football T-shirts will be on sale during lunch for $12 outside of the cafeteria during lunch.

Title Town T-Shirts will be on sale for $12 by our track team outside of the cafeteria during lunch. 

Balfour will be here on Friday, September 7 during lunch to give out class rings.  A postcard will be sent to your home with any amount due.

Vanderbilt University will be on campus Monday, September 10 during advisory.  Agnes Scott College from Decatur, GA will be on campus September 18 during advisory (this is an ALL girls’ school).  Presbyterian College from South Carolina will be on campus September 19 during advisory. There are sign up sheets in the Guidance office.

Tennessee State University will be hosting its 9th Annual Admissions and Records College Fair in conjunction with the John A. Merritt Classic Football weekend.  The college fair will be this Saturday, September 1 on the campus starting at 10 a.m.  There are limited game tickets available for the game featuring Alabama A&M vs. TSU.  For more information or to register call 615-963-5841 or visit www.tsutigers.com.
