Owls made a brave attempt to offset the strong offense of McCallie. But they were no match loosing to McCallie 18-1.

Owls Struggle to keep with Soddy Daisy4/17/11
The Owls varsity baseball team suffered its first conference loss on Thursday at Soddy Daisy.  Despite some spectacular fielding plays by third baseman Tristan Willoughby, Ooltewah made several costly two out errors, and could not overcome strong Soddy Daisy pitching.  The JV faired better, but also fell victim to errors before falling 9-2.  Both teams will return to action March 29 at Red Bank.
