Teachers will notify students after the fifth (5) class absence.

Class absences must be made up by attending a time-for-time session for each class absence over five (5) in order to receive credit for the class at the end of the term.

Three (3) tardies equal to one (1) absence, and every three (3) tardies thereafter will be an absence.

Students must be on time to make-up sessions.

Students are responsible for bringing appropriate, academic materials and must have those materials with them.

Inactivity or disturbance of any kind will result in dismissals, and no time will count for the session.

Students who attend time-for-time must stay a full 60 minutes and cannot leave early.

Only students involved in activities previously approved by the curriculum administrator will be exempt from time-for-time.

Under extenuating conditions, an appeal may be filed 2 to 4 weeks before the end of the term to regain credit lost due to excessive absences. This appeal information must be filed with the curriculum assistant.

All time-for-time sessions must be served before the end of the term in which the grade is received. There will be no extensions into the following term.
