The materials collection of approximately 16,000+ volumes and 100+ periodical subscriptions is continually being developed to support the curriculum and to provide a wide range of recreational reading opportunities. Suggestions for purchase are always welcome. Twenty-four internet computer systems are also available for student use. Individual students will be admitted to the library at the circulation desk. Once signed in, students should not leave without receiving permission and signing out. The library is now open at 7:00 a.m. each day and closes at 2:15 p.m.. The library is a place for reading, research, and/or quiet study. It is important that the atmosphere be conducive to these activities. The library does not replace a study hall.

    LIBRARY PROCEDURES (Circulation)
  • A book may be checked out for two weeks. It may be renewed unless someone else has made a request for it.
  • A student may check out two books at a time.
  • A fine of five cents per day will be charged for overdue books.
  • When a charge has accumulated to fifty cents or more, the student's library privileges are suspended and no materials may be checked out until the obligation is cleared.
  • All library obligations must be cleared by the end of each term.
  • Charges are made for damaged books according to the damage.
  • Reserve books may be checked out overnight. Check out time is during 4th period or after school.
  • Magazines, reference materials, and vertical file materials do not circulate. Materials which do not circulate can be copied at ten cents per page.
  • Students are urged to check the due date stamped in the back of the books. Please return the books on time if possible.
  • Various pieces of equipment available for student use are: typewriters, computers, opaque projector, slide projectors, copiers etc.
