All students are required to have 28 credits for graduation. Ooltewah High School includes grades 9-12 and is accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Tennessee Department of Education. Our curriculum includes courses designed for a single academic path. Grade point averages are figured on an alpha and numerical system. Rank is based on numerical average. To meet the requirements for graduation in the Hamilton County School System, a student must:
- Earn the specified units of credit
- Passing Gateways - Algebra I, Biology I, and English 10
- Have satisfactory records of attendance and conduct
- Senior Project
