I served as a classroom teacher at East Lake Elementary and Barger Academy of Fine Arts. Several years later I became a Consulting Teacher for Barger Academy and East Brainerd Elementary. For three years I served as the Assistant Principal at McBrien Elementary. For several months I served as the Interim Principal at Woodmore Elementary. My most recent assignment was serving as the Associate Elementary Principal for Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences.
On a personal note, my passions include reading non-fiction books, traveling when I have the time and enjoying family and friends. I am a lover of jazz , gospel and classical music.
My motto has always been giving my very best to every student every day. Having an impact on the educational opportunities of hundreds of students and teachers is very exciting to me, and I look forward to it this opportunity with enthusiasm.
I look forward to a memorable year for all McBrien families in continuing the tradition of “Providing Academic Success for our Students”, as we embark upon our final year together as a school.

Mrs. Lea Ann Bolick, Vice Principal
I am so excited to be the vice principal at McBrien Elementary! I am eager to develop relationships with the East Ridge community. As a teacher, I have experience in both primary and upper grades in a variety of Hamilton County elementary schools. My administrative experience has been in elementary, middle and high schools.
Currently I am serving as an administrator in two elementary schools; therefore, I will be at McBrien on a part-time basis. Please be assured that I will be available for any of your needs or concerns! As a mother of two children (Beth, 23, and Roger, 21), I understand the urgency in regard to trust and communication with school officials. Please feel free to contact me at any time. If I am not available at McBrien, the office staff will contact me at my other school. I will return your call as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to serve the East Ridge community! Please be assured I will always put your children first!
