Mr. Ronald Moss
Welcome to Harrison Elementary, Mr. Moss!
Four students from Mrs. Nagle’s gifted class had a unique opportunity at the beginning of the school year. They had the privilege of interviewing the new assistant principal, Mr. Ron Moss. Please read on as you get to know one of the newest members of the Harrison Elementary School family.
Mr. Moss grew up in a caring neighborhood in Chattanooga, TN. He has one brother and two sisters. His favorite subjects were math and science. Mr. Moss dreamed of becoming a research scientist and has always had a love for reading. In fact, he would read five books a day when he was an elementary school student! Mr. Moss believes that reading is knowledge and knowledge is power.
Previously, Mr. Moss was a fifth and sixth grade teacher who taught at both Hixson and Mary Ann Garber schools. He was also an assistant principal at McBrien Elementary school. Mr. Moss even taught one of the current teachers at Harrison when she was a child – Ms. Harris!
Now for some favorites…Mr. Moss likes hot and spicy foods and shrimp too. Blue and different shades of brown are his favorite colors. Mr. Moss said he is enjoying being at a different school this year; he is learning many new things and he feels very welcome at Harrison.
