Children With Special Needs

Sometimes children come into this world facing challenges that, if not dealt with, can present major obstacles to obtaining an optimum education.  Sometimes these challenges are readily identified at an early age.  Others are not discovered until the formal educational process has begun.  Many Falling Water students have been identified as having special needs in the areas of speech and language, vision, hearing, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, or a combination thereof.  Occasionally, a student may be enrolled with a physical handicap.  There are many agencies in the Chattanooga area that can provide help in identifying areas of need and meeting those needs.
