The Superintendent's Honors Banquet, primarily sponsored by the Fund for Excellence, is held in the spring of each year to recognize the top ten percent of the graduating seniors in all the high schools. In addition, students in each feeder system are asked to choose one elementary, one middle, and one high school teacher that most influenced them during their education. Those selected teachers are invited to attend the banquet with principals, students and their parents. Nationally recognized speakers are invited to speak at the Superintendent's Honors Banquet. Sponsorships from local businesses are secured to offset some of the costs of the event. |

“It
is a privilege for me to recognize these students for their outstanding
academic achievements. These students are the future of our community
and they are being honored as the best of our senior class. I know each
of these students will accomplish great things in their lives." Dr.
