East Ridge Middle School believes that education is a
three-fold partnership in which parents, students, and faculty share in the
responsibility for student education and character building for future
success. We believe all members should
feel welcome, safe, secure, and respected in our building.
We believe that a positive and constructive working relationship between the school and the students’ parents or legal guardian is essential to our success. We encourage you to become involved in your child’s school. We invite you to take part in our parent organizations, to become involved in the activities of the school, and to regularly check the Agenda Mate for school work with which you could help your child, etc. We also suggest that you review the handbook, located at the front of the Agenda Mate, with your child so that the contents of the handbook are thoroughly understood. Through positive three-way communication among parents, students, and teachers we will be able to achieve the best education for our students.
SAFETY NOTE: Parents, we have several students with nut allergies.
Please be sure the snacks you send to school don't have nuts. If something is
made with nut oils, please mark it. Thanks for your help in keeping our
children safe.
To ensure the safety of your child, all students should exit cars on Bennett Road in the designated lanes in front of the school. Students are never to exit cars from the side parking lot or the rear of the building. The circle driveway in front of the school is closed to all cars from 7:15-8:00 a.m. and 2:15-3:00 p.m. to allow buses to load and unload safely.
