Hello Parents!
I just wanted to welcome you back to Alpine Crest Elementary!  My name is Kimberly York and I am the PTA President for Alpine.  I just wanted to tell you a little about the PTA.  PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association.  We are all volunteers and parents of children in the school.  We do two fundraiser’s a year which provides funds for us to do special things for the school and teachers.  We pay for the computer teacher’s salary for one.   We do special things for the teacher’s and staff each month and at Christmas, Valentines, Teacher Appreciation Week and more during the year.  Our teachers and staff are excellent with our children and we like to let them know how much we appreciate them.  We also do special things with the students throughout the year.   If you have not yet, you can join the PTA for only $5.00.  That way we can contact you when we are doing special events.  We always need help and volunteers throughout the year!  Please fill out one of our Volunteer forms so we have your information.
