Our Kindergarten classes are very busy making new friends and learning about the big world of school or (the world of "big" school).

We are learning to listen, follow directions and rules, and work as a group.  We enjoy activities related to school, colors, seasons, holidays, and our world.

Our reading program begins with an introduction of letters and sounds.  The program also includes a workbook, big books, and related activities.  During the second semester, we will begin participating in our school-wide Accelerated Reader Program. 

Our math program will focus on naming numbers, shapes, and coins.  We will also practice counting and telling time to the hour.

We look forward to working with you and your child this year in Kindergarten where "Great Beginnings Never End!"
