GENERAL
We are running a 4th block extended schedule today to accommodate the first performance of our Theater Arts play. Tickets to “Who Poisoned His Meatball?” may still be purchased through your 4th block teachers. Cost is $3.00.
The Hixson Chorus Holiday Concert will be presented this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Commons. Come support the chorus and enjoy the sounds of the season.
Books Are Fun has their display set up in the library. Drop by and see if there is anything you would like to order for yourself or for a Christmas gift. Orders are due by Thursday afternoon for delivery on Monday, December 15.
ROTC is collecting new and unwrapped toys for “Toys for Tots,” but tomorrow is the final day. Please make the holidays happy for a deserving child. Toys must be new and unwrapped.
Anyone who would like to attend the field trip to Oak Ridge National Lab, please see Mrs. Lawson, Dr. Whitten, or Mr. Kavur for a permission slip. The deadline to sign up is tomorrow.
GUIDANCE
SENIORS & SENIOR HIGHLIGHTS
The Senior Class is collecting items for the “Room in the Inn” Wish List. Seniors can see members of the Senior Council, class officers, or senior advisory teacher for more information. A Wish List is posted outside each senior advisory teacher’s room. Deadline for items is Friday, Dec. 12.
CLUBS
Pawprints will meet today after school in room 218.
Tri-Hi-Y meets after school today in room 254.
Seniors are getting stomped in Penny Wars – as of yesterday they were at a negative 1010 points. Can they catch up to the underclassmen?
Please remember to bring your items for the Character Ed. Council collection. Most items may be found in the “travel-size” section of any discount store and cost less than $1.00. You may bring your items to any teacher through December 17.
ATHLETICS
Help support the bowling team by purchasing a dress down pass for December 15. Passes are $3 and are being sold during lunch.
Volleyball girls will meet with Coach Tate after school, 2:30, today in the Commons. Some of you have not turned in your uniforms; please bring them with you. Meeting will last one hour.
Any girls interested in playing softball who did not attend yesterday’s meeting may still pick up information in the office.

Bowling vs. Silverdale Baptist Academy – Brainerd; 3:30 p.m.
FACULTY/STAFF
All ClassXp and SASI users need to be logged out at 2:30 today for about 30 minutes. Modifications will be made in preparation for entering grades.
